When I first started working on the Eugene Cannabis TV show I was operating a camera. A good friend & fellow freedom fighter, Danbo, said, “You ought to go on camera, you’ve got a lot to say.” I responded that I’d like to but my wife is a state-certified daycare provider and she had concerns that my activism would come back on her. She asked me to retain my anonymity. Danbo suggested that I wear a bag over my head. We laughed about the idea, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea. I could go on the show, speak my mind, keep my anonymity AND illustrate the fact that we live in the land of the free, but I have to wear a bag over my head to talk about a plant! So Dank Bagman was created!
